Daas has its roots in the external Kesser and in the internal Kesser.

The external Kesser - Arich - is Will. The Daas which originates from Arich is concentration which is born of will power.

The internal Kesser - Attik - is Delight or Pleasure. The Daas which originates from Attik is Interest. One can see this kind of intense concentration born of Delight in little kids who are watching their favorite action hero cartoons.

There is also a Daas which originates from Pnimius Attik The Innerness of Attik - Which is called Radl"a (Reisha Delo Issiada - the Unknown Mind). This is called Daas of Radl"a. Radl"a is the inner unfelt Delight of the mind which is connected to the self. This level of Daas is a complete bonding with the object of the interest to the point that it is seen as non different from oneself.

It is of course obvious that the connection of Daas which comes from Attik is stronger than that which comes from Arich. It is also effortless and more permanent. Even more so that which comes from Radl"a.
