And now Chapter 16 Part 5
All of these particulars - i.e. the particular desires for the four Worlds - were all included within the First Desire so named because it is the first level which can be consiered as already coming in a manner of influence or expression externally after the tzimtzum/lessening (the previous levels in the Upper Purity before the tzimtzum do not come in a manner of influence or expressionto the outside since they are part and parcel of the Self.) The first outside-influence is the beginning of the kav/line etc. This ‘first desire’ is the first circle after the drawing forth of the aforementioned heyuli head of the kav/line out from the reshimu/impression, this being the first issuance out of the potential heyuli of the Self. Which (this first circle) is likewise called the general makif [encompassment or surrounder] for all of the four worlds of ABY"A [Atzilus, Briyah, Yitzirah, Asiyah; Emanation, Creation, Formation, Actualization], encompassing them all equally as one, which is likewise called the general thought that gazes and oversees, in one glance, from the beginning to the end etc. - all of these being different names or terms for the same level and representing the same concept.
This is the general explanation for the general concept of this kav/line and its particular manners of expression so far as how it "circles, returns and circles once more etc., can be understood according to the aforementioned analogy of the desire for a home and as will be explained soon with the help of G-d, and this is sufficient explanation for the understanding.
