Previously:

Two levels of Binah: Binah and Tvunah.

Tvunah is the extension of the light of Binah as a result of the proper absorption of the concept in the brain to bring it to expression into different things in many different ways

Examples of the ‘separate things’ into which Tvunah can extend:

(a) analogies to explain the understanding of Binah to someone else

(b) a decision or ruling based on the understanding of Binah, as in a legal decision and

(c) a practical use for the understanding of Binah,

(d) The man of Tvunah can bring to light the Midos (emotions) from the Midos of Binah,

Yisroel Sabah and Tvunah are the Middos of Chochmah and Binah as they are COMING OUT of Chochmah and Binah rather than how these middos were actually part of Chochmah and Binah themselves.

And Malchus (Kingdom) of Tvunah is the aspect of the intellect that comes into conscious thought . This is the level of thought that the intellect is enclothed within and it is the external vessel of intelligent thought,

Two aspects of thought come out of Malchus of Tvunah, one: the content of the thought and two: the division of the letters of thought

Tvunah is called "Ben U’Bas" (Son and Daughter i.e. the emotions) (The letters of Tvunah when rearranged are Ben U'Bas), as is known.

And now Chapter 2.07

For Tvunah also has three dimension: depth; length; and width.

The depth of Tvunah is the essence of the power of this Tvunah-insight into the particular understanding, as it is at the time that it absorbs it etc., and from this absorption it is possible to bring the depth of the understanding that was mentioned previously (i.e., that of the depth of Binah), into revelation. As was discussed in explanation of the verse "...deep waters a man of Tvunah draws them forth etc.."

The length of Tvunah is the concept’s descent into a separate matter, to advise with it or to perform many activities with it, etc..

The width of Tvunah is the extension of the Tvunah within the concept itself to widen the concept in one’s thoughts in many different ways and not only how it is itself. For every concept has the basic words that are necessary to think of the concept itself. Then, there are the additional words that may be used to express the concept more vividly. These extra words can change, so that two people may explain the same concept in very different words and yet they both express the same underlying concept. This ability of broadening a concept into many different words is the width of Tvunah and it is an essential part of bringing out the depth of the concept to the students. As is understood that there is a great advantage to one who possesses good oratory skills, with a finely honed vocabulary, when trying to present an idea. Making those who possesses such a talent a pleasure to listen to, the concepts they describe coming to life in their eloquent explanations and aiding the listeners to grasp what is being explained.
