This series is a continuation and should be read in order. If you are not familiar with previous posts you may have trouble understanding later ones.
There are even closer analogies for this concept of the Reshimu such as the hint or hand signal, that in this analogy the intellect is concealed within the physical movement of the signal or hint. Which this is referred to as enclothements and containment within a separate entity etc., or likewise how when one writes that the intellect and wisdom is enclothed and contained within the movement of the fingers etc., as mentioned previously. So too, above in the spiritual spheres the level of the Reshimu is in a manner of something that is proportionally separate from the original Infinite Light before the Tzimtzum, within which is enclothed in a concealed manner the entire Light of His Essence etc. and this is sufficient explanation for the understanding.
All of these analogies are necessary for each has an advantage over the other. So that while in the analogy of the blueprint it is easy to see how everything is included within it, yet it still bears too much relationship to the original light of the architect’s intellect, for its shape still resembles that of the final construction. The analogy of the mnemonic solves this problem, for it bears no essential relevance to the original concept, yet it does not reveal the concept to anyone other than the one who made it and so it does not express how the Reshimu transfers the entire light into creation. However, both of these together still do not express the concept that the Reshimu is perceived as being completely separate from the original Light and so the analogy of throwing a stone is given. Yet even this analogy is missing one additional aspect that in the Reshimu the Light is captured within something which bears no relevance to the original spiritual nature of the Light. For, in the analogy of the stone the power of movement and the strength with which the stone was thrown are just as revealed within the stone as they are within the hand itself, only that this force is now separate from the thrower and now appears as an independent force. While in the analogy of the hand signal, such as a peace sign or a salute, we see that the original intellect is not revealed in the hand as intellect, for this is not some sort of telepathic message, but rather, the intellect is somehow captured and expressed within the motion itself. However, again in this analogy the intellect is actually understood from the motion itself, therefore, the analogy of the motion of the fingers while writing is given, where the intellect is completely hidden within the motion of the fingers and nothing is understood from the movement of the fingers themselves and yet the entire intellect is concealed and contained within the movement of the fingers, for it is only through them that the concept is transferred to the paper.
So now collecting the point of each of these analogies one can understand how the Reshimu
1) contains the entire revelation of the Infinite Light within it in a hidden manner
2) it is perceived as separate from G-d Himself as if it continues by itself
and
3) that the Light revealed from it is of a completely different nature and completely removed proportionately from the original Light, though through it the entire original Light is conveyed. So it is understood that creation is a revelation that appears to be completely separate from G-d - appearing to run according to set natural laws - needing no divine interference and is of a completely lower nature than the essential light of G-d, bearing no relation to it and yet the entire essence of G-d can be found within creation, for G-d has left His mark within every aspect of creation, even the subtlest detail being specifically in accordance with the divine will expressing G-d’s very essence.
However,
though none of these analogies alone may suffice to properly explain the concept of the Reshimu yet, from all of these together at least the general concept of the Reshimu can be understood, that though it comes in a manner of the removal of all of the original Light, and this Light only remains within it in a greatly concealed manner, in a way of an absolute summary and hint etc. or such as a separate force within a thrown object etc. Yet, still from this concealment itself come out and is drawn forth all of the particulars of the Hishtalshellus of the Kav (Line of Light), which are drawn out of this Reshimu. For, within this Reshimu, being that it includes everything, albeit in a concealed manner, it is, therefore, specifically this Reshimu, which allows for the possibility for everything to come into revelation via the Kav, all the way until the end of the world of Asiyah (action - the lowest spiritual world) i.e. our physical world. So that every detail of creation from the loftiest spiritual creations down to the last most, minute physical one were all included within the original Reshimu according the letters that were engraved in the Infinite Light before the Tzimtzum. As per the statement "The entirety of creation is not missing from You" - specifically "from You," meaning that everything is made and drawn into revelation according to what arose within His simple Will within the Essence of the Light preceding the Tzimtzum exactly as He estimated within Himself etc. For, with this ‘first thought’ - which is the general desire for the entire Hishtalshellus, as will be explained later - which He first estimated within Himself, He gazes and overviews everything that is to come into revelation in the Hishtalshellus of the Kav in one glance. Meaning that everything that is to come into revelation in the Hishtalshellus is found in a concealed, summarized and hinted manner within this Reshimu etc. this one impression relating everything, encompassing everything as if in one glance or perception. This being analogous to a craftsman’s blueprint that it is specifically from it that he knows how to do the entire lengthy construction process with all of its minute details, from beginning to end. Only, that in order that he should not forget his reasoning and considerations of the lengthy process as to why the construction is to be made in this very particular manner he makes himself a blueprint as a reminder. So that by following the blueprint he will not veer from his original plan and he will not have to reconsider this matter to himself in order to remember his original planning. Likewise is the concept of mnemonics for a deep entire length of ones deep analysis that one has made, so that one will not veer from it etc.
So too, this Reshimu, which includes in a hinted and summarized fashion the entire Light of the Essence of G-d, which is concealed within it; it itself is the source of all of the issuances of Light and vitality of the Kav u’chut [line and thread], both in an encompassing and a internalized manner, from its beginning to its end. So that everything should be just as it arose within His simple Will and Wisdom within the actual Essence of the Infinite Light etc., just as the craftsman’s blueprint and the scholar’s mnemonic contain the entire concept specifically in a concealed and hinted manner and yet it is specifically from them that the entire concept is brought back into revelation. In addition, these aids are useful specifically because they include everything in a short and hidden manner, for they present an easy way of remembering a lengthy concept, which at times is much more helpful than a complete description of the concept in its original length. Such as notes for study or cliff notes, which are useful particularly because they are shorter than the original. So too, all of the lights of the Hishtalshellus (chainig of the worlds) are included within the Reshimu in a hidden manner and it is specifically because it is in a concealed and summarized manner that everything can later be drawn forth from it in a manner that appears as if it is separate from G-d and will go on its own without G-d having to continue to deal with creation.
